Recommendations for general contractors/subs in Yucca Valley?

We are almost closing on our first STR property in Yucca Valley! Does anyone have GCs, handymen, or subcontractors that they recently used and can recommend? We are entirely new to the process so we're leaning towards going with a GC to make things easy, but been reading too many horror stories, waitlists, delays etc.

Some planned reno includes: kitchen and bathrooms, wall tiling, fencing, exterior & interior painting, window treatments.
