I don't see this as an emotional thing or a non-emotional thing (because I know tons of male investors that base their decisions on emotions and not data), but I do see the difference between the sexes as being how they take information in and at what point they are comfortable making the decision.

On a serious note @Cam Chan, internet banks are A-W-E-S-O-M-E especially if you want to keep your emergency funds in a savings account with an interest that makes sense (still less than inflation but heck more than .01%).
