But the more i think about i think it i think it had to do with my age even though i was professional about the whole thing i had a lot more knowledge of real estate then the other person i was dressed up ready to do business (probably over dressed if you asked me) which lead me to believe that is was because of my young appearance.

Investments like these largely boil down to whether you can find a tenant to be in that space 6 years from now - whether it's the current tenant or the new one.Is the tenant strong (Ross Dress for Less) or shaky (Kmart)?

I think it really dresses up the place nicely.We are renting our half duplex for $1100 in a market where an outdated, cheaply done unit in a less desirable neighborhood would rent for ~$750-$900. $1100-$1200 is the highest I have seen for our market.
