Im fairly new to real estate investing and I'm also younger than most. I would just like to get an opinion form other real estate investors on here or around my area (Fort wayne, IN). Is being only 21 years old to young to start investing in real estate, would other investors take me seriously? Ive been interested in real estate for a long time now (since i was 17) and Ive done my research and i still continue to do so. Ive learned A LOT about real estate investing and wholesaling and i just want to know will other investors take me serious because of my age. I almost had a deal under contract but after meeting with the person they back out and it was just really a waste of my time. But the more i think about i think it i think it had to do with my age even though i was professional about the whole thing i had a lot more knowledge of real estate then the other person i was dressed up ready to do business (probably over dressed if you asked me) which lead me to believe that is was because of my young appearance. This isn't going to stop me from becoming the best REI in my area i just wanted some feedback on the subject.
