We did all the work ourself on nights and weekends thinking we were “Saving money” (def were not plus I found out that I was pregnant with Aria) it cost us a lot of time and carrying costs but we consider it as we got paid to go to real estate college.

My Girlfriend is pregnant and we are in dire need for our own place.

I flew out there 7.5 months pregnant, interviewed 3 contractors and went with the cheapest (rookie mistake!).

I was especially elated to see the light at the end of the tunnel on this reno as I’m currently pregnant with our second child, and had both hoped to be able to help my husband complete this job before I’m huge, and actually have a done house by the time baby # 2 arrives.

It seems that health risks are slightly less concerning to the overall-healthy individual, but what about the more vulnerable populations (immunocompromised, children, pregnant, elderly, etc), and those who are renting a home for longer term?
