I've tried doing STR on a couple apartments but haven't really figured out the right formula yet (and it's not my focus), so my experience with sites like Airbnb is super limited.

Try running an STR on a property you already have. 

And not being able to self manage cuts into the potential cash flow too much.We live on a property with a well, has an STR on it as well.

hi Timmy workplace is 80 miles from my primary residence, I am thinking to get a fha loan with 5-10% down (no previous FHA loan) to buy a quadplex, rent 3 and use 1 for myself as an overnight stay for 1 day a week and maybe use it occasionally as STR (only of legal),will that be legal?

Hello All,I wanted to know what one would expect to pay for cleaning services for a STR on Maui - Lets say a 1BR/1BA?

We are considering doing an STR on the lower unit. 

We have a STR on Smith Mountain Lake in VA and we've had good luck with our maintenance people.

Long term rental on 1/1 and STR on 2/1.

What If I decide to STR only the weekends and live there only during the weekdays?
