You might consider adding a small flower planter to the bottom of the windows if you can also figure out how to get a water line to them from your irrigation system.

Brilliant minds think alike, @Julia Blythe, because that's exactly what I wanted to do with those front windows - they seem to be calling out for planter boxes there.  :-)

I had mold on my wood floor when a planter leaked and was not caught for a few weeks. 

Although she loved the terraced planters, they did not want to put the time into them to keep them up. 

I saw a renter hanging a jacket on a swinging planter holder near the gas stove and thought, they could burn my place down.

We did that on a Seattle property a few years ago and were able to avoid digging up the planters, sidewalks and street which saved a ton of money.

     Spring is in the air a time for gardening and sprucing up the front yardThis year I plan on being the envy of the neighborhood So it's time to go steal some  toilets  they make marvelous planters!

They have made a beautiful fire pit, built 3 gorgeous raised planters, and also built a lovely bricked in garden besides adding perennials and replacing a diseased road bush with a beautiful new one.

My first thought was a small planter box with make some fake plants so it’s hand off but would still serve as a barrier.
