Are there separate gas, electric and water meters for each apartment?

Mark down all the multis you see by looking for two or more doors in front or multiple air handlers outside or gas meters.

Example: invest in syndications / short-term rentals / oil & gas wells / solar projects / conservation easements, and so on, due to the tax losses they generate.

I have not had that happen, but natural gas is a lot more reliable than power.

Our electricity is already separate and we designed our ADU to be all electric so no gas. 

When you get into the remote Chihuahuan desert (Culberson, Brewster, Jeff Davis, Presidio, Hudspeth, and the south ends of Pecos and Terrell counties) where there has been almost zero oil and gas development can you get a patch without pipelines that's big enough to make it worthwhile.

Someone has a gas stove and the new rental only has electricity; someone has a 33 in fridge and only a 30 in fridge fits; counter space is cut for slide in, not drop in; etc.
