@Ben Stanley I stayed up late after dinner & spent weekends on my computer, scouting neighborhoods and attend RE investing events.

I do like having access from my desktop too.

My tenant of 1 year just moved out recently (work transfer), but during the move-out inspection we found that one of the 10X10 bedroom has all four side of the wall covered in screw holes from the time they used it as a computer room (I believe the holes were from the sound deadening foam that they used to attach to the wall) So I was wondering what would seem to be a fairly reasonable cost to be deducted from their Security Deposit for the excessive holes and needing to repaint.

I recommend the desktop version.

The demographics of these investors are typically high income earners, almost 90% working in tech (software engineering, tech sales, computer science, etc).

You won't learn this sitting behind a computer screen.

If you go to BP on Youtube on your computer and type in "Midterm Rentals" you will find many videos on MTR including Furnished Finder CEO: Mid-Term Rental Housing is BOOMING!

I know this will disappoint most BP forum readers who have been taught they can live behind a computer screen and make sound investment decisions based on zillow zestimates and the number of available rental units at any given time.

The next, more expensive step would be to pay for a desktop feasibility study.

With dropbox, I can work on my iPhone or hp laptop or desktop and save all under one roof.
