Note, I love renters with pets because they stay longer, typically clean up more often because of the fur, and are willing to pay a premium for their fur babies.Pet Rent: Pet rent is the best way to go.

On one house I have they left the trusses alone, but ate away all the 1X3 ceiling furring strips nailed to the bottom of the trusses, turned them into swiss cheese i can crunch with bare hands.

If you are using closed/open cell spray foam, you need to make certain the bricks are able to breath and dry - otherwise they will spall - so normally you do not want to apply the foam directly to the brick.If the building is structural brick, then there may be an internal framing for walls, but more likely there will be furring strips attached directly to the brick.
