If you are tearing down the plaster/drywall/paneling on the walls and exposing the studs and the plumbing is old (not copper for the supply pipes or PVC/ABS for the sewer pipes) I would update the piping.

in the last picture with the white PVC drain lines, the floor joists don't look too great but its always hard to tell in pics but there could be some rot or pest damage there.
