When I was selling residential solar I assessed 3-6 homes a day and often saw FPE panels with charring around where a breaker had been overheating for awhile and started arcing because it failed to trip, causing the breaker to melt and the wood framing the panel was mounted on to start burning.

My marriage strained under the pressure, my financial burdens mounted, and the disappointment in my children's eyes mirrored the turmoil within my soul.

Hey @Eric Rosiello, I have always thought a place near Mount Sunapee in New Hampshire would be a good area.

Some of the things that have happened during the last 7 years of running STRS, loose deck boards, rotten outdoor steps, broken interior hand rail mounts, loose electrical outlet...Any of those could cause a major accident so they were repaired asap.

Like many other community owners, I have looked to solar to improve safety in areas that would be hard to reach with current infrastructure.A few considerations are deciding how they will be mounted, your budget, and how bright you want them.

Because of the way the place is set up it makes the most sense to mount inside.

I prefer to go outside of primary markets (Raleigh/Durham) where there is no cashflow to more peripheral markets like Rocky Mount, Louisburg, Wilson, Roxboro ... and so on. 

Generally speaking, most states will not allow any sort of camera to be mounted facing an area where the tenant would have an expectation of privacy, which would include the entire interior and possibly the back yard too. 

To prevent the remote from it being lost I used the included wall mount for the remote and mounted it with longer screws onto a stud  (important).

I would add certain areas in Mount Airy and Germantown to your search.
