When I lived in Southern California I worked at a firm that designed ultra modern homes in Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Malibu and so on for a homes that sold between the low price of $10 to $50 million dollars.

I would love to BRRRR properties closer by the beaches but yes the casino in Michigan City, Beverly Shores, Miller, I forgot that they just built hard rock casino so not opposed to that area either!

I have 7 rentals on the south side in the Beverly Morgan park area.

I have a two flat in Beverly but only one set of utilities.

California either needs to allow builders to increase supply (maybe without such onerous building fees and permits) to meet demand or, again, give these people a bus ticket to some of the cities that have declining populations and vacant properties.I don't squat in Beverly Hills because I'd like to live there, but can't afford to.
