I find these homes all the time, rip the siding off and stucco the home.I do also agree that the most important factor is the curb appeal which would mean changing the old wood frame or metal frame windows, in doing so, you will have to stucco the home anyways unless you use retrofit pop-ins which I do not recommend, and all the other things mentioned - landscaping, nice looking color combinations, etc.So, is stucco convenient?

From what I saw driving by the park, all it needs is re-landscaped and repaved.

Seperate living spaces have been popular for decades and sell.As to the back, you won't need a full length lower deck or patio, but using bark or gravel along the length of the house nicely landscaped really sets the back entry off with a smaller area for BBQ and seating.Post some pics of the back, I'm sure you will get plenty of ideas.....

These folks don't really understand the landscape and get taken with comps from a few blocks over but might as well be a world away to local homebuyers.
