At first I was really hesitant to touch it since it was money for retirement, but we are paying it back in less than 5 years and it made it possible to fund a good deal that will still be cash flowing money to us when we retire.

If you are constantly on the move or in less than desirable areas I would be hesitant to put my Macbook Air on a moldy/dusty/undesirable counter top but I would have no problem putting my $300-500 laptop on the same counter bc they are easily replaceable just in case something happens.

I sublet 2 rooms in grad school, but I also saw some friends in undergrad who destroyed their places so I would be a little hesitant to go right into that market.
