Home renovation cost

Bel Crawford
Posted

I am planning a kitchen remodel and master bathroom addition in my fixer upper.  The design / construction company that I want to work with quoted me 135K for both projects.  I have seen the great work that they do and know that they are reputable but is this price too high?  Another, smaller company quoted me 90K for the same project.  I would like to go with the company that I know and want to know if I am being unrealistic about the cost.  The remodel would include structural, electrical, etc. for both rooms and adding a bathroom that does not currently exist.
