I think the first refers to Prop 36, the clean-up/seizure of a drug lab http://www.capcentral.org/high_court/arc_2005_cal.aspxThe second one looks like public storage facilities and the third involves settling an estate.I would check into the third and probably avoid the first....it will be tied up in legal proceedings for a while.

another thing @Dawn Anastasi, is that because I was around so many different people in the military, you can learn to recognize qualities in someone, so what I could even do ( I have not researched the legality of this, I am just brainstorming) is start them out on 1 month and explain that it is to make sure that they are suitable for the chemistry of the apartment, if so and everything goes well, we continue on.

Had to buy them as part of an estate situation to help an attorney, which has been my business for many years.My big concern was that I'd get the properties back at my foreclosure sale and have to deal with the meth lab that was purported being run in a steel building by a squatter.
