I’ll be retiring within the next month and moving to northern Michigan!

My name is Davena (Day-v-na) and I am live in Michigan and am looking to start investing in my own backyard.

From Madison, WI and living in Detroit, MI. 

Ok well let me make this short im a first time home buyer and got a random real estate agent from my lender and im interested in a house i got the listing agents number but contacted my buyers agent and she told me she will be in florida for  7 days vacation  and the house is located in michigan what are my options to atleast see the home and make an offer because waiting 7 days i feel some one else make take the home?

I live in Shelby, on the West side of the state of Michigan.

If we are able, I'd love to use a 5% conventional loan on next property (Owner-occ), since conventional MI can be less expensive than FHA PMI.

I am a new real estate investor from Detroit, MI.

Have talked to a few and they are willing to lend on the property, the concern is that with such a high commercial %  that MI company won't insure.
