They can be pained to match the roof if you want.Unless you intend to run rain gutters, but all of those leaves and pine needles might make gutters a hassle to keep clean.

Unfortunately, it turns out the "hardwood" floors are really just old pine subfloors.

For me, I'd stay out of the Northside of Tulsa (generally North of Pine street)  Lot's of gang activity, shootings, drive-bys, etc.

Further south there are a few more rough areas including Holden Farms, Greentree, The Pines, Woodlea Lakes.East: The strip east of O'Henry Blv is rough, some have even said dangerous.North East: Not too sure about this area.

There just aren't a lot to choose from, and you're either in a war zone or in a high end market where your cash flow will be severely limited.I have recently expanded my search to Altamonte Springs, Pine Hills... the outliers.  

I noticed you said Plain Hills, and I think you meant pine hills perhaps?

Places like Blakeslee, Tannersville, Albrightsville, Pocono Summit, Pocono Pines, Pocono Lake are just postal designations, not the names of municipalities.
