I'm in the Finger Lakes region of New York (5 hours from NYC), reliant on tourism area and some manufacturing.

Rentometer says approximately 1300 and the closest place on craigslist was a manufactured housing about a mile away. 

I am starting to explore a new business plan in CA that would essentially include placing newly constructed manufactured homes on lots that I own for rental in the Section 8 program.  

My current house is a manufactured home and still has original kitchen, bathrooms and 2 of the 3 rooms have not been touched.

Secondary impact: Uber drivers, insurance companies, delivery services, dry cleaners, retail, yoga studios, performers / athletes, manufacturing, housing, construction and by proxy the entire economy.

My last point is that, according to their own zoning ordinance as a direct permitted use, I could install two manufactured homes (used or not does not matter) on these properties.

I’ve been doing a lot of research on the niche market of manufactured & mobile home investing and I’m interested in hearing about the experience of investors in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) area.This metropolitan area is a more expensive and a smaller market compared to hot spots like Texas, Florida, etc.

TIME to get back into manufacturing here in the US.. we have plenty of dirt and plenty of know how and man power  

Hold out for someone who chooses to live without manufacturing chaos and drama.
