Using a pipe should make it less likely to freeze if it already has water in it, so I'm wondering if it was going to freeze anyway.Either way, at $200 to repair a frozen pipe, I think it's time to find a new plumber.

It was lots of frozen foods, take out, ect....so really only plates now and then to wash which wasn't bad.
