Look for REI meetups with some of the local players.

Okay - professional baseball player but that ain't happening in my 50s.

SoCal is a funky REI market ... high stakes with millions to be made and lost ... mid west dudes think we're all insane speculators out here, but there are intelligent ways to invest (without speculation) and it is not necessarily the same strategies deployed in other markets that dominate discussions here on BP.

I have been in the market for a coach or mentor but haven't found one yet..My plan is to dominate the DC/MARYLAND/VA area within the next year!

It might make sense and it might be easy to produce a POF letter but hey- if this guy is a player and is just kicking the tires and looking - and you can verify that he is a player- ask for your POF when he makes the offer and dont piss him off!

You could come in and find a flipper mentor or see what flippers want so you could wholesale it to them or just meet the major players in the area. 

Especially if you are dominating your market.

(IBM) Sure some of the players stock can get hit hard but this is not like Detroit selling cars or something.
