Usually you're going to have to invest some front-end money to survey it out and work with an engineer to figure out what's possible (generally the more lots the better) based on your existing access to infrastructure, the desirability of the area, zoning rules, etc. 

Deals are much better.

@Bruce Woodruff were gonna get a slew of people saying it will be fine, people will rebuild and all will be better than ever.

The previous landlord is even better, but call them both if you can.

So, as you can imagine, I completely disagree with the opinion that investing in the US is better.

Mind you, with mortgage interest rates in the US being so much higher now (and seemingly for the foreseeable future), I wouldn't be surprised if LTRs in Europe would cash flow better than in the whole US nowadays (to be verified).This being said, I don't and would never invest in LT rentals outside of North America  as I wouldn't want to face unfavourable landlord/tenant laws as a foreigner.

Of course the listed price may not be the actual rented price, but by tracking several listings for a while you can gain a better understanding of the market.

I believe there is no better place  than Bigger Pockets to find the most expertise.

I would consider getting out of property management and getting into cleaning IF you think they are doing better than you .
