Your definitely not going to see the return your looking for in a 75-90k value add.

Other than over the long term building equity and stability, I don't see the benefit of your buying where you currently live. 

Go where people are barely talking about but you can see the area growing.

We could see the storm clouds looming in the housing market, but we thought we would be able to ride it out ok in commercial.

It's definitely a path that requires dedication, but it's worth it when you see the positive impact you can make on people's lives.I'd be happy to chat more about this and share insights from my experience.

And no matter how you try hard to be kind, people don't always see things from the Landlord's perspective when it comes down to money.

@Tina Chau Hey Tina, mortgages are recorded and public record most of the time, you can access this info at the county clerk website where you can sort by document type (mortgage) and see the amount taken out.

If it looks bad from the outside, they won't want to see the inside.Chances are you should change toilet seats.If you want top dollar for it, probably needs interior paint, granite counters in kitchen and baths, and stainless appliances.
