They’re just in rougher neighborhoods, so you take a risk of theft during construction, but also selling a home in an area where it’s majority renters.

I know it has alot to do with national interest rates but comparatively my original loan (taken out around 2 years ago) was a 15 yr fixed 80% LTV @ 3.75% so my Refi should be almost identical I would assume, netting me the same or possibly even lower interest rate?

@Kee Barber I've always found $/sf to be very unreliable, unless you're evaluating identical homes like a row house or condos in the same development.
