Now that it's the off-season for football, I stumbled across the Bigger Pockets Podcast a couple weeks ago and started listening to a few episodes, which ultimately led me to this site!

There's the University of Texas, the Capitol, 6th street, live music, rivers, lakes, good restaurants and plenty more.That weekend UT football will be playing away which is helpful in that traffic won't be as bad and hotels won't jack up their rates as if they were here.

I agree with you; much like football players who go crazy when scoring a touchdown, these folks should "act like they've been there before".

@Jon Lee my buddy called me the other day and said the hot ticket is a house in Vegas for rentals because of the new football team coming in.

I'd suggest doing them now before Buckeye football starts :)I did the Saturday/Sunday combo and was done in like 4 weeks.

And also consider a market that can support major sports teams that have a loyal following, like a hockey team, basketball team, football team, tourist attractions like the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The safer areas seem to be to the west side of campus (near the football field) and north of campus (closer to delsea dr.)

I am coming up on October 2 and will be looking at the property on October 3, if anyone is interested in having a pseudo meet up on Monday night to have a discussion and watch some football I would be happy to host.
