I'm blessed to work from home with my current job and that has allowed me to spend more time with my family, but it'd be fun to not worry about our finances as much and be able to take more trips and vacations.

Pro Forma's are "fun" and all, but of little use to me.

I had no idea what I was getting into and have never worked so hard and had so much fun at the same time.

@Rodolfo Canon I would second this - while I'm super new to the world of REI, I have been to a class that Chris, Charles and Joe put on and the info was great, environment was fun and it was a great way to network locally.

Take-away #3: Have fun....don't stress too much.

It's fun throwing around numbers and percents and formulas but this is how you actually figure out your costs when you have a specific deal your underwriting.

@Jose L Leos House hacking is great (and can be fun) but it becomes tougher if you have a family especially with more than 1 kid. 

I can’t help but think how much more fun it would be not to have to do it alone.
