There is an intermodal facility in town and a silicone plant down the road in Waterford providing solid employment potential.  

But my property is in Silicon Valley and my tenants have all been reasonably tech-saavy, so depending on your rental area and your target tenant, YMMV.

Probably some siliconized acrylic caulk like DAP Alex Plus, which, manufacturer's claims aside, simply does not take paint as well as regular acrylic caulk (DAP Alex).They probably figured it was worth taking the risk of you complaining about it.

For what it's worth, I am a depository mortgage banker and have seen a significant decrease in appetite from my firm for portfolio lending due to the risks of bank runs and additional scrutiny that has taken place since Silicon Valley and Signature failed. 

It's in a location, Silicone Valley, that could bid up.
