We are trying to get a feel for the local market here in Sunriver, OR. We are in the process of putting the finishing touches on a remodel we did in Sunriver OR , and curious as to where buyers for such properties are located. We've heard there are a number of people in the Portland market, as well as Silicon Valley and ohter areas that purchase 2nd homes or vacation rental properties in this area to take advantage of the proximity to Mt. Bachelor, in the winter and the big Deschutes River and all the hiking /biking trails in warmer months, so we wanted to get feed back. Do you own or are you considering purchasing such a property? Would you prefer Sunriver or Bend? What price range do you consider?
