If you recall from my previous post, at this time I’m still in the middle of a Reactor Operator’s training program, so I didn’t have much time to pursue REI except through the turnkey route.I made the decision to borrow from 2 of my properties in Dallas, TX.

They don't read tax code to save additional money, they don't actively pursue more and more education to make them more marketable after HS or college, they don't have an investment strategy. 

The down side is so great compared to the upside that I concur with your decision not to pursue it.

Eventually I plan to pursue financing through private partners. 

We have more than enough for the 15% down payment using another conventional loan, but if hard money can help these dollars go further then we are interested in pursuing it.Thanks, Chris

The main question now, as you mentioned, is whether we want to pursue properties that need rehabbing or not.

I hope I'm not being delusional here, but Real Estate has captured my interest seeing as so many people have mentioned it before.Currently I'm in college pursuing a 2 yr degree in Construction Management and will transfer to get a bachelor's in the same field.

I have successfully acquired these properties in the past and I am currently pursuing a few.
