I agree with @Michael Plaks that the pricing should be discussed prior to the start of the engagement.My firm does not like the hourly invoice method because I find it can potentially cause anxiety to clients who may not know the final price.if you were a nice client and paid an hourly fee, maybe there was a lot of time towards 'setting' you up as a client(inputting your properties, prior year carryforwards, depreciation schedule, etc) which won't be a cost for you going forward.Best of luck.

Once I had their agreement I called the guest who refused to answer, so I called the cabin phone and let it ring for like 2 minutes until someone finally answered.I explained they knew the house rules, they signed my digital rental agreement that clearly spells out max occupancy and they signed up in the OTA with 7 guests, but only listed 6 people on the digital RA.

We’re not an attorney state so they know very little about navigating the transaction process itself, only when things go sideways do they get involved usually or sometimes high net worth individuals or people from attorney states like to bring them in for final contract review, but they aren’t doing a buyers agent’s job by any means that’s for sure.
