Hi FriendsIs it still worth buying str investment properties in San Antonio and/or other San Antonio suburban cities? 

However, we keep coming back to the potential that the best first deal actually lies in a property that my mom owns in San Diego.

In San Diego, they recently applied STR quotas.  

One of my agents @Keith Mintz is another young hustler, he's doing deals in San Diego right now.

There are just some markets (San Francisco, Southern California, NYC, parts of NY, Washington DC, etc) where labor and materials are much higher than most of the rest of the country, unfortunately. 

I live in San Francisco and would prefer to manage it myself.
