My handyman told me of this long ago, but for some reason, i never tried it, it seemed like there had to be some legal issues that could come up around them (or maybe it's just me feeling guilty cause it seems like fraud?

I pressed criminal charges on our guy, and he has recently plead guilty to the charges.

In the meeting they were very understanding of "the why" it was happeing. one HOA member even admitted to being guilty of it himself...we then estsblished it was an honest mistake and agreed that i have to pay closer attention to the parking spots that i park in......Then i brought up an issue about the "interferance with parking enforcement" an incident that had taken place several months before.....My fiance is a very nice person and does not like to see people suffer.

If you get caught after only a few deals, hopefully you can plead ignorance and just pay a fine of few thousand dollars.

@Jonas LaPointe Liquidated Damages AND contract/fund termination will motivate them to come and fix it FAST, especially with escrow, they are a neutral company, if its there, they will implement it, you don't have to feel guilty taking their money. hehe.

I know I've heard of people pleading financial hardship, asking for a reassessment, etc. but it's hard for me to think that an investor pleading financial hardship is going to get much financial sympathy.
