You should check out the Black Diamond meeting in Waltham, there is also the Boston Area REIA in Medford, being in Quincy the Eastern Mass REIA meetings in Rockland and Taunton would be pretty easy for you to get out to.

I'm originally from RI, but moved to Texas 12 years ago and there is tremendous growth here in Texas as well as large land mass and I am sure that I can benefit from that.

B- once people start moving in, en mass, it will become a proof is in the pudding/less of an issue. 

There is actually a pretty good-sized network of people with experience in Central Mass, but I'd be happy to share any experience I've gleaned too.
