I'm a single mother of a 25 year old US Army Veteran. I've worked in the back office end of the healthcare industry for the past 20 years, but I've always dreamed of being in business for myself and I looked into real estate investing often over the years. Since I was raising my son alone, keeping a 9-5 was of the utmost importance and I never found the time to invest in an education on real estate investing. Thankfully, I avoided the guru traps, but reamained very unknowledgable about this industry; I hope to change that now.

I am very hopeful of my possible success due to the state in which I reside. I'm originally from RI, but moved to Texas 12 years ago and there is tremendous growth here in Texas as well as large land mass and I am sure that I can benefit from that.

I'm quite sure that I will have many questions in the beginning. I hope some of you seasoned investors will address my questions, which will be common knowledge to you, with sincerity and patience.
