Then, what happens is the occupant's furniture and small carpets acts as a filter and the odor goes away.When I use a vacuum with a Hepa filter to clean items that do not contain asbestos or mold I connect a hose to the exhaust side of the vacuum and extend that hose to outside the building as long as you are not blowing the air in a neighbor's window and not close to something you should not get contaminated.
