I want to second the above comment - if your repairs are making you think of selling the property, the first thing I would do is take a hard look before making each repair.  

I also 2nd the commenter who said Stephenville is outside of the trajectory for DFW. 

I hear these comments a lot, I agree that you should always ask the wholesaler if he/she is direct to seller.

While many commenters suggest there is a 6-month redemption period, that is only true for Mortgage Foreclosures NOT Tax Foreclosures.

I don't have any answers for you Holli but I'm commenting so I get notifications when others reply to this as it sounds like a unique project and I'd love to hear more!

If you contact zillow through a bunch of ways (they also have social media outlets where you can comment, and that's what we did, in addition to all the other methods of contacting them) my understanding is they eventually do get back to you and are reasonable in resolving matters. 

To do this, you need to make sure and find designers/contractors that have built many ADUs and can properly determine what your full required scope will be.Also, jurisdictions are tightening their interpretation of ADU rules, and we're finding MANY more plan check comments are coming back for items not previously requested.
