From the time we offered on the second one, it only took a month or two, but the short sale ate up the first few months just waiting on the bank.

This is what I did: I followed his program to a tee and finished all the baby steps.

Assuming you ate nothing and paid 0 taxes, you turned 200k into 500k in 5 years??

I would never make a claim under $10k anyway there’s too big a discount for no claims.In 25 years I’ve made two claims (both over $30k for toilet supply lines that burst in two different houses) and I ate a $3k clothes washer flood.

You ate already ahead so just stick with it and you will be in good shape.
