Helpful, but a bit odd.Anyway, I'm just getting started with RE investing and want to begin by learning to flip homes and eventually begin to acquire rental properties to generate residual income. 

My concern is more around if there will be any residual repercussions to me.

Boiler system is adding  baseboard radiators with pex line would be my first guess  More than likely it had enough residual heat from above to keep it above freezing and so pipes wouldn't freeze before.

So the asbestos is likely on the tile adhesive.

Make a good and safe residual income (by safe i mean recession proof, and always being able to pay of my Monthly Payment)2.

I am out priced here in San Diego and I refuse to put down a 100k down payment on a house until it comes residually from all my rentals.I currently have 60k to put down on a house with an extra 13k for cushion; or if needed to buy down points or do a small Reno. 45k from my 401k, 15k from my grandpa, and 13k personal savings.

Rather than glued down planks, you can get planks which ship-lap with a "glued edge" - they are glued to one another, but not to the subfloor.Some of the "glue down" commercial vinyl plank do not require smearing glue across the subfloor, but has the adhesive already on the back of the plank ... it goes down kind of like peel-n-stick tile.  

Remove toilet, be ready for any residual liquids to come out.

They are calling 2017 flat - maybe a little slow from residuals of job loss in the lower paid areas.At Real Property Management  - Alaska Office we also watch A, B, C rentals.  

I wonder how much residual cache value if any there might be buying his former vacation home or anyone famous.
