Asbestos floor in personal home - best option?
Recently, we discovered we have a collapsed pipe under the basement cement floor/slab. This turned into sending off a sample of the flooring to get it tested for asbestos. It came back positive, but not a high percentage.
To repeat the title, this is our personal home that one day will be a rental whenever we end up deciding to move on. The area of flooring that needs digging for the pipe repair is small.
I'm unsure if we should simply have a team remove ALL of the flooring from the entire basement...or remove just the small area of repair, and then cover up the floor with something else. These tiles are thin....like sticky tiles perhaps? Not thick ceramic tiles.
