The existing oak floor is not of great quality easily warps a flooring company recommended to go Vinyl as problem can resurface again and again on existing floor cost of refinishing and installing new vinyl is same besides vinyl has life time warranty

Then, that floor stops and becomes unfinished oak that is warped and has gaps etc.
