I thought around 30 people there in the auction, at least 1 of them would have different beliefs, if there is no tangible reasons financially :)

Some people don't have a niche, but instead use existing networks as a starting point e.g. schools, religious institutions, places where you volunteer, former places of employment.Another important question to ask yourself is how much support you want from your brokerage. 

I have a question about LA County, I found a property that is zoned LAR-1, with the code use of being religious, church, or worship purpose.

They do not generally have the skills/knowledge to buy right or often have the mistaken belief that cash buying or high equity is a protection when it has the opposite effect of exposing them to greater potential losses.Real estate investing is high risk primarily for the novice.

Has anyone else come across this belief?

I'm not an overly religious guy, but one of my great grandfather's favorite proverbs went something like, "Babbling brooks are shallow but still water runs deep."

But in the end, make a decision based on your gut and your belief in your goal.If I had listened to my accountant, I would not be in RE.

While this may run contrary to popular belief, don't think for a second that the highest volume sales agent is going to have the best knowledge of a given area.
