It's been rewarding for me.

Living a frugal lifestyle is/can be just as rewarding as spending beyond your means.Remember investing is a long term plan not a race.

Real Estate is extremely rewarding on so many levels but just like anything no short cuts.

I pulled the trigger a few years ago and am still doing real estate on the side; happy I got into it, definitely rewarding! 

The good deals, or even the prize OOH, are being snatched up within one day, sometimes one hour (in my recent experience in San Antonio), so if this deal is hanging out there, it’s because the sharp investors don’t want it.

Commit to the process of becoming a regular Pittsburgh investor, hang out here on BP with the Pittsburghers, study the city, its history, its culture, and its strangeness, and eventually you will be richly rewarded.

I hope to get it for less.And to your argument  that it is risk vs small reward..I think it's small risk if I have no right to ask for verification.  

If i were in your situation, with my own risk/reward profile and my own investment goals, i'd seriously consider a home equity loan to be used as down payment for multiple, out-of-state rentals. 

I believe that helping a fellow man or woman can be very rewarding in the education of any trait or field.

I don't know of another industry that creates the tremendous rewards real estate investing does, but you have to work for it.Here's wishing you tremendous real estate investing success!
