Tammy as you get more rental properties you need to be careful with subjective approvals - as one could sue based on some sort of perceived violation of fair housing laws.

2. if only 1 front door, upon entering the property through the front door   is there a room or hallway that could be perceived to be a common area that separates the two living areas,  is the only place in the building where the living areas open to each other, and must be passed through to access one living area, from other living area, and provides privacy possible solutions....make sure there is more than one door between the two living areas.
