@Katya Holrigien I am still learning how things are done here in the state, but when I, as an owner of a personal property in Canada, was selling prior to moving here to the US, my new husband had to sign some sort of Dower release.

Part of the reason we couldn't act on the first one we missed is that *I* as a 'person' cannot make an offer to purchase and then assign that offer over to the SDIRA or LLC.... that would be the SDIRA 'benefiting' from my individual 'person' having made that offer - a big no-no.Once we got things set up, we funded the SDIRAs/LLC with enough funds for a down-payment that was high enough for the most expensive property we would be considering.
