When I was in elementary school I wanted to become a doctor and open my own office to see patients without a corporate overlord.

I just spoke to them today and they informed me their young son has respiratory issues and after explaining the living situation to the doctor, he highly recommend against them living in my unit.  

Or a "Doctor Guru" book and suddenly become a doctor.

Did the doctors not alert her to the potential of many months away from her home?

One thing I didn't mention, is that my mother committed suicide (by gunshot) there in 2009...When my father's dementia started getting more serious, early this year, I hired an elderly-care manager to handle a variety of tasks like getting him to doctors (he wouldn't go with me), and eventually transition him into assisted living, where he is now.I was initially thinking of selling the house to pay for his care, so I discussed it with her.

They said they had one doctors letter today stating their family doctor "recommends" the husband not use stairs.My plan is I want to try and work with them best I can to try and get the place shown and rented quickly by putting ads out.

What type of exit strategy do you have with medical offices, is it better to lease space or try to sell the building outright to a doctor or hospital who can use it as a satalite office.

The guts can be replaced for not much.I've made hundreds of thousands over the years in rents and trades of all kinds but mostly on Doctors and subcontractors and over 100 trips to "check on my rentals" with nice tax deductions-twice per year...I can't relate to any of the items PNW mentioned about Hawaii.

Perhaps I missed it when you showed me an example of someone faking being a Doctor.
