It didn't start at 6 am in the morning thats for sure because the paint did not match the existing ceiling .You can tell that they tried to cover it up because my ceiling also have a pattern and they tried to mimic it with brush strokes.

@Tyler LeeYou'd probably be surprised what a half-hearted amateur sanding, some homemade filler mixed out of Elmer's Glue-All and the sawdust from your floor sanding, and three coats of brush-applied gloss polyurethane will do for most hardwood floors, however heavily scratched.
