Most of my properties are in a corporation and I carry extra insurance as well as an umbrella policy, however if that was penetrated I want my retirement funds to be secure.

However, is there a way to bundle all of this income and put it under a business umbrella to show consistent income?

Dear BP Hard money and Private Money Lenders,I'm new to Flipping /rehabbing after going through a 6 month immersion/coaching/mentoring program in RE investing, so while my company may be new, I have definitely wet my feet under the umbrella of my coaches.

I have only graduated less than 3yrs ago, so although I don’t have a huge amount of assets, it’s still in the 6 figures.My other question to everyone else is if the LLC is not possible, should I just pursue REI while ensuring that I have excellent insurance coverage + umbrella policy.

I also think limiting your access to financing and not receiving the lowest interest rates possible can hurt you.Get umbrella insurance if you want to be protected.

Many people have real estate in their personal names and get a good umbrella policy for additional insurance.

An umbrella insurance policy will protect me in the meantime.

There is really very little precedence to whether the LLC protects the owner in the event of a lawsuit anyways versus just having increased insurance/umbrella limits in the individuals name.  

And I have a good Personal Umbrella Policy. 

They also include a umbrella policy which is nice to have.
