I'm researching a seasonal camp purchase as well as several others for potential STR.

I will have a crazy assortment of questions for the group just trying to get up to speed and prepping for this upcoming boot camp. 

It’s not an overnight success  you have to work at it a long time. 

There was also the issue of ever expanding landlord regulations in seattle,   and I have pretty much decided to gradually phase out my seattle portfolio.If the building was in a stable neighborhood it could have made sense to do the work it needed,   but given various circumstances including negative trend of that area of the neighborhood  (street camping and constant low level property crime) and townhouses replacing many homes in the area meaning the structure was worth zero and the dirt was worth everything,   it didn't really make sense to invest a lot in the existing building.    

There is a boot camp coming Oct 11th... but in oorder to benefit i believe you have to pay the full amount before the end of this month.

They probably won't as they consider it a "camp ground". 

A Canadian tenant who rented from us for many years decided to move overnight without paying rent last months rent and the security deposit was insufficient to cover the damages.

Becaide nobody is going to think there is someone crazy enough out there to want this service, because frankly,  it's bat s*** crazy to pay someone to camp out at your houses everytime you have a turnover.
