A locksmith I work in the inland empire with mentioned how a squatter would have the place rekeyed.

I do not believe the Inland Empire has rent control as of yet.

This will give you the inside track to the industry and will position you to start your empire. 

I’m a land broker who specializes in urban infill redevelopment sites in LA and also larger tracts in the Inland Empire.

But of course friends and family just tease me a little because I literally just bought my first home and want to build an empire with one experience in buying a home. lol.
